Trilogy Disc Golf
Trilogy is a collective term for the three disc golf brands Latitude 64 , Dynamic Discs and Westside Discs . The three brands each publish their own discs and there are therefore no discs of the brand Trilogy, as it is only an association of the three brands. The term Trilogy has arisen among fans of the three brands, and many of the Professional players who are sponsored by Latitude 64, Dynamic Discs or Westside Discs use discs from all three brands.
The reason for the association is that both Westside Discs and Dynamic Discs started by having their discs produced at Latitude 64's factories. Today, both brands have been acquired and owned by the company behind Latitude 64, which is called House of Discs, while they continue to exist as independent brands and release their own discs.
Latitude 64
Latitude 64 is one of the largest producers of disc golf discs in the world and, in addition to its own discs, also produces discs from other brands. The name Latitude 64 is a reference to the latitude 64 where the company was founded and still has headquarters to this day in Skellefteå, Sweden.
Dynamic Discs
Dynamic Discs started as an online company specializing in custom dyeing disc golf discs while also selling disc golf apparel on eBay back in 2005. In 2012, they introduced their first discs in partnership with Latitude 64, laying the foundation stone for to become part of the Trilogy.
Westside Discs
Westside Discs is a Finnish brand that started as a distributor of other disc golf brands in Finland in 2003. A few years later in 2009 they started releasing their own discs in collaboration with Latitude 64. Westside discs are known for their discs often bearing stamps with reference to the Finnish collection of myths "Kalevala".
