The Culverin was approved in 2016 and has since been a go-to overstable control driver that works across skill levels. The Culverin flies straight out of the hand before closing with a dependable fade at the end. Thrown with full power, you may notice a touch of turn along the way, but the disc never flips over. That makes it ideal for long s-curves, where you want to shape a throw that flies straight at first and then fades back toward the target. The Culverin also holds up well in headwinds and works equally well on backhand and forehand control shots, when you need control rather than maximum distance.
