In Fission plastic, you get a disc based on MVP's Microbubble technology, where small air bubbles are placed in the center of the disc. This allows you to get more weight out of the rim on the disc. The technology is also used to make lightweight discs which are good for the long throws into a tailwind or on calm days, or for players who don't throw with so much power.
